Day 15

 Afternoons.  

I love late afternoon. For me, it is always the time to take a little break with an espresso. 

On a cruise ship my daily practice is elevated to include a treat. Yesterday the ship had small charcuterie boards in the buffet. Today they had small sandwiches and scones with clotted cream. Oh my!

There was sun much of the day but now it’s a little overcast as we are passing by Punta Cana and San Juan on our way to St  Maarten tomorrow. 

While cruising, I am also working on a big needlepoint project. I can’t think of a nicer place to sit and stitch.

Much anticipated trip

 I’m on the move again. My house is kind of complete and I feel all moved in. After my parents did so much work, I had a visit from Pam and Bill who hung paintings and did so much!  I really feel like Florida is my home.  I am in another country now. I will post pictures when I can. For I will give a few hints Men wear Capri pants. (Manpris!!) Coffees are tiny and you stand at a counter to drink them.  Breakfast was a cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice and a chocolate croissant as big as a shoe. All for €6

Day 3

 I’m up early!! Ready to board that cruise ship!! I really can’t leave for another four hours so I have plenty of time to write. Actually, I have plenty time to exercise. Pray, read, craft, write and watch TV. Hopefully it will be productive. Of course I could just lay in bed all morning but that gets me nowhere toward my goals. This morning I am thinking about forgiveness. It’s tough. Forgiveness is something that I have total control over. It’s so easy to forgive someone when they are truly sorry. Like when my kids did something wrong when they were little, they were sorry. Easy forgiveness. When my kids did something wrong when they were older, it was a little different. They knew they were breaking a rule before they broke it. Were they sorry? Yes, but they were most likely sorry for getting caught. They knew they did something wrong and my love them could help them not make the same decision again. Easy forgiveness. My circumstances today are different. I’m trying to figure ou...

Day 9

Day 9 of my wonderful year puts me in Animal Kingdom.  I saw real animals (really really close). And fake animals! I wore my favorite Mickey shirt And drank my favorite pick me up beverage.   I do not appreciate Christmas decor and jaunty Christmas music in January. It’s just not right. It’s still a great day.
