Day 18

 Barbados

Hmmmm lots of opposites today…

The port was ugly, but the beach was beautiful.

I saw an old man and a young woman, and an old woman and young man. Both couples seemed very mismatched.

I saw a man dressed, totally head to toe in Gucci and walking a monkey on a leash. Then I saw a woman in a teeny tiny bikini, carrying a child. Later on, I saw that same child streak across the beach wearing nothing. I’ll bet that mom wished she had the monkey’s leash for her child.

The man in the lounge chair next to me told me a story about getting run over by a golf cart yesterday in St. Lucia. I told him my story of having a wonderful day in St. Lucia making chocolate.

As we pulled away from the port I saw another rainbow. The weather was rainy and sunny all day

Much anticipated trip

 I’m on the move again. My house is kind of complete and I feel all moved in. After my parents did so much work, I had a visit from Pam and Bill who hung paintings and did so much!  I really feel like Florida is my home.  I am in another country now. I will post pictures when I can. For I will give a few hints Men wear Capri pants. (Manpris!!) Day 3

 I’m up early!! Ready to board that cruise ship!! I really can’t leave for another four hours so I have plenty of time to write. Actually, I have plenty time to exercise. Pray, read, craft, write and watch TV. Hopefully it will be productive. Of course I could just lay in bed all morning but that gets me nowhere toward my goals. This morning I am thinking about forgiveness. It’s tough. Forgiveness is something that I have total control over. It’s so easy to forgive someone when they are truly sorry. Like when my kids did something wrong when they were little, they were sorry. Easy forgiveness. When my kids did something wrong when they were older, it was a little different. They knew they were breaking a rule before they broke it. Were they sorry? Yes, but they were most likely sorry for getting caught. They knew they did something wrong and my love them could help them not make the same decision again. Easy forgiveness. My circumstances today are different. I’m trying to figure ou...

Day 97

 As usual, life has ups and downs. The people buying my house have to sell theirs first so my sale is contingent. My contract says I can entertain back up offers. I am doing that now!
