Day 29

 Driving home from Detroit/Canada was a breeze except it rained and it was cloudy. I got home in time to have lunch with Maria and her family which was fun. Their nieces are the cutest things ever. They are three and six years old and can sit through any adult meal without an iPad, amazing! Their mom is really on top of her game. She brings coloring pages and orders perfectly so the kids are happy throughout the entire meal. Then I got to watch Purdue win another basketball game and the Eagles win their way into the Superbowl. I watched the KC Bengals game but I think the referees were questionable. I think the Eagles will win the Superbowl.

Much anticipated trip

 I’m on the move again. My house is kind of complete and I feel all moved in. After my parents did so much work, I had a visit from Pam and Bill who hung paintings and did so much!  I really feel like Florida is my home.  I am in another country now. I will post pictures when I can. For I will give a few hints Men wear Capri pants. (Manpris!!) Coffees are tiny and you stand at a counter to drink them.  Breakfast was a cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice and a chocolate croissant as big as a shoe. All for €6

Day 3

 I’m up early!! Ready to board that cruise ship!! I really can’t leave for another four hours so I have plenty of time to write. Actually, I have plenty time to exercise. Pray, read, craft, write and watch TV. Hopefully it will be productive. Of course I could just lay in bed all morning but that gets me nowhere toward my goals. This morning I am thinking about forgiveness. It’s tough. Forgiveness is something that I have total control over. It’s so easy to forgive someone when they are truly sorry. Like when my kids did something wrong when they were little, they were sorry. Easy forgiveness. When my kids did something wrong when they were older, it was a little different. They knew they were breaking a rule before they broke it. Were they sorry? Yes, but they were most likely sorry for getting caught. Day 9 of my wonderful year puts me in Animal Kingdom.  I saw real animals (really really close). And fake animals! I wore my favorite Mickey shirt And drank my favorite pick me up beverage.   I do not appreciate Christmas decor and jaunty Christmas music in January. It’s just not right. It’s still a great day.
