Day 61

 I don’t have many pictures to document the day but I sure was busy. I had planned a beach excursion to Playa Mia in Cozumel. On a personal level my day started out horribly. My house is not for sale but I have 2 interested buyers. The idea of being able to sell my house without ever putting it on the market is sweet. The problem is I need to find a new house. I had an opportunity to build a new house but yesterday the plan fell through and I was really disappointed. I got my hopes up and I should not have. So here is how the day went. 

8am  No new house

8:30am  Realize I have lost my expensive prescription sunglasses 

9am  Take a walk to the port of Cozumel to shake it off and buy a pair of cheap knockoff RayBans

10am Relax in the spa and swim 

11:30 Get ready for my excursion 

12pm  Walk all the way down to the pier again and find out my excursion has been cancelled due to strong winds. All $ was refunded.

1pm  Return to the ship and get a lounge chair by the pool. Text with my friend Cathy who told me to find a less windy spot and that God has a better plan for my housing trouble.

2:30  Realize the wind is so severe that my sandals had blown in 2 different directions. (I should have listened to Cathy)

3pm  Afternoon coffee and lemon tarts

6pm  Dinner with 2 friends which turned into dinner with 6 friends!

After reading the run down of my day, it sounds pretty darn good. No complaints. I have a super duper wonderful exciting life!

Much anticipated trip

 I’m on the move again. My house is kind of complete and I feel all moved in. After my parents did so much work, I had a visit from Pam and Bill who hung paintings and did so much!  I really feel like Florida is my home.  I am in another country now. Day 3

 I’m up early!! Ready to board that cruise ship!! I really can’t leave for another four hours so I have plenty of time to write. Actually, I have plenty time to exercise. Pray, read, craft, write and watch TV. Hopefully it will be productive. Of course I could just lay in bed all morning but that gets me nowhere toward my goals. This morning I am thinking about forgiveness. It’s tough. Forgiveness is something that I have total control over. It’s so easy to forgive someone when they are truly sorry. Like when my kids did something wrong when they were little, they were sorry. Easy forgiveness. When my kids did something wrong when they were older, it was a little different. They knew they were breaking a rule before they broke it. Were they sorry? Yes, but they were most likely sorry for getting caught. Day 9

Day 9 of my wonderful year puts me in Animal Kingdom.  I saw real animals (really really close). And fake animals! I wore my favorite Mickey shirt And drank my favorite pick me up beverage.   I do not appreciate Christmas decor and jaunty Christmas music in January. It’s just not right. It’s still a great day.
