Day 83

 Today we showered Leah with love to celebrate the upcoming birth of her baby boy! Jenn (Aunt Jenn) was the super planner and everything was perfect. Maria (Aunt Maria) nailed the decor. Nana (Great Nana) made all the flower arrangements and most of the food. Leah (Mommy) painstakingly made the best candied bacon ever. Papa (Great Papa) was our gopher. Aunt Kirstian (Great Aunt Kirstian) and I (Grandma) did whatever we were told to do! Kirstian came all the way from Colorado to celebrate with us and I am so thankful.

Much anticipated trip

 I’m on the move again. My house is kind of complete and I feel all moved in. After my parents did so much work, I had a visit from Pam and Bill who hung paintings and did so much!  I really feel like Florida is my home.  I am in another country now. I will post pictures when I can. For I will give a few hints Men wear Capri pants. (Manpris!!) Day 3

 I’m up early!! Ready to board that cruise ship!! I really can’t leave for another four hours so I have plenty of time to write. Actually, I have plenty time to exercise. Pray, read, craft, write and watch TV. Hopefully it will be productive. Of course I could just lay in bed all morning but that gets me nowhere toward my goals. This morning I am thinking about forgiveness. It’s tough. Forgiveness is something that I have total control over. It’s so easy to forgive someone when they are truly sorry. Like when my kids did something wrong when they were little, they were sorry. Easy forgiveness. When my kids did something wrong when they were older, it was a little different. They knew they were breaking a rule before they broke it. Were they sorry? Yes, but they were most likely sorry for getting caught. Day 9

Day 9 of my wonderful year puts me in Animal Kingdom.  I saw real animals (really really close). And fake animals! I wore my favorite Mickey shirt And drank my favorite pick me up beverage.   I do not appreciate Christmas decor and jaunty Christmas music in January. It’s just not right. It’s still a great day.
